Good QC vs Bad QC: Visual Reference

Learning to spot quality issues in QC photos takes practice. Here are the most common visual red flags our community has documented across thousands of submissions.

QC Checklist

  • Good: Clean stitching with consistent spacing (2-3mm per stitch)
  • Bad: Loose threads hanging from seams or unfinished edges
  • Good: Logo print sharp with no bleeding or fading
  • Bad: Blurry print edges, missing pixels, or off-center placement
  • Good: Symmetrical toe boxes and heel counters on shoes
  • Bad: Asymmetric shapes, one side higher or wider than the other
  • Good: Even color distribution across fabric panels
  • Bad: Discoloration, dye transfer, or fading in patches

Pro Tip: Save Reference Photos Before Ordering

Before you place any order, save 3-5 retail reference photos of the exact item on your phone. When QC photos arrive, compare them side-by-side. This is the single most effective way to catch discrepancies that you might otherwise miss.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I contribute my QC photos to this gallery?

Yes, we welcome community submissions. Send your QC photos with batch name and seller details through our contact channels. We add new photos weekly.

Q: Are these photos edited or filtered?

No. All photos are raw warehouse QC images directly from agents. We do not enhance, crop, or color-correct them. What you see is what the agent captured.

Q: How do I know which batch the photo belongs to?

Each photo caption includes the batch name, seller name, and date of inspection. If you need more details, check the community discussion linked below each gallery section.

Q: What resolution are these photos?

Most agents shoot at 1200x900 or 1600x1200. We upload at full resolution so you can zoom in to inspect fine details like stitching and print quality.
